Dear BNAR Members, I am pleased to share that the BNAR Board of Directors has selected Joseph Rivellino as the Association’s next Chief Executive Officer, effective September 15, 2026. Joe is already well known to many of our members. His REALTOR® leadership experience includes three consecutive terms as President of the Genesee Valley Board of REALTORS®, service as President of BNAR, and service as the 2024 President of the New York State Association of REALTORS®. In addition to his association leadership, Joe owns and operates an independent real estate company. He also previously owned and managed a seasonal country club and 18-hole championship golf course, giving him hands-on experience with budgeting, staffing, facilities, marketing, operations, and long-term planning. Joe understands our members, our local real estate market, and the profession's challenges. He also knows BNAR and appreciates the important role our Association plays in supporting REALTORS®, advocating for homeownership and protecting private property rights. Over the coming weeks, Joe and I will work closely together to ensure a smooth and orderly leadership transition. I will share with him the history, relationships, priorities, and responsibilities that have helped make BNAR the strong organization it is today. After more than 20 years as your CEO, I want BNAR’s next chapter to begin with strong leadership and a continued commitment to serving our members. I believe Joe is well prepared to take on that responsibility, and I ask you to give him the same support, encouragement, and friendship you have given me throughout my years with the Association.
